As a Trainee Field Technician, you will be a trusted face in the community, using technology to solve real-world problems while building hands-on skills and experience. You will work alongside a mentor, receiving ongoing coaching and support, while providing customers with a great experience by activating and assuring telecommunications and technology products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Activate and assure telecommunications and technology products and services in homes and/or businesses.
  • Actively participate in a diverse team environment to deliver optimum customer and commercial outcomes aligned to Telstra's Behaviours & Habits and corporate strategy.

Requirements

  • Hold a current driver's license.
  • Physically fit for the role.
  • Ability to undergo pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.
  • Ability to undertake a police check.
  • Professional and polite communication.
  • Enjoy working in a team environment.
  • Positive attitude and safety-first approach.
  • Technically minded.
  • Reside in the targeted area or be willing to relocate.

  • Support offered for Traffic management, Working With Children Check and white card certificates.
