About the Role
Provide end-to-end technical solution ownership for ONESOURCE GTM implementations in the Japan market. Act as the primary technical authority to ensure solution quality, architectural integrity, and successful delivery for enterprise customers. Collaborate with customers, project managers, functional consultants, product teams, and global delivery teams.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end technical solution design for ONESOURCE GTM customer implementations.
- Translate customer business requirements related to Import/Export controls and Free Trade Agreements (FTA) into scalable and compliant technical designs.
- Define and document system architecture, integrations, data flows, and technical specifications.
- Ensure solutions align with Thomson Reuters product capabilities, implementation standards, and best practices.
- Provide technical oversight across the full project lifecycle, from design through go-live and stabilization.
- Review and validate technical deliverables produced by developers and consultants.
- Ensure high quality, performance, security, and maintainability of delivered solutions.
- Identify technical risks early and drive appropriate mitigation plans.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to delivery teams located in AEM.
- Act as the primary technical escalation point for complex implementation issues.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, functional consultants, and product teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Engage directly with customer stakeholders as a trusted technical advisor.
- Lead or support technical workshops, design sessions, and solution walkthroughs.
- Clearly communicate technical concepts and decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in a Lead Design Consultant, Technical Lead, or Solution Architect role implementing SaaS-based enterprise solutions (ERP, compliance, or trade systems).
- Hands-on experience with system integrations involving ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and custom enterprise applications.
- Strong domain knowledge of Global Trade Management, including Import/Export compliance, Trade Controls, and FTA processes.
- Broad understanding of enterprise IT architecture and integration patterns.
