About the Role

The Public Affairs Analyst will support public relations efforts for senior executives, drive internal communications initiatives, and contribute to key firmwide communications projects within Blackstone's Corporate Affairs department.

Responsibilities

  • Support planning efforts related to media interviews, conferences, priority travel, firm milestones, and other high-visibility engagements.
  • Assist the broader Public Affairs team during critical communications moments, particularly those involving senior executives.
  • Draft press releases, ensuring consistency and clarity across all communications.
  • Contribute to the executive briefing process, including ownership of briefing materials for media interviews and public-facing engagements.
  • Collaborate with the broader Public Affairs team to monitor media coverage and provide insights to executives.
  • Support the firm’s internal communications approach and craft clear, engaging messaging for company-wide updates, announcements, and events.
  • Staff executives for select interviews and events, coordinating with internal Blackstone groups and external parties on preparation, follow-up, and review processes.
  • Lead content creation and review processes for social media.
