About the Role

As Manager Corporate Development, you will report to the VP Strategy and M&A and work closely with senior management and relevant specialist departments. You will support the development and implementation of corporate and business strategies, contribute to M&A activities, and drive strategic projects with global reach.

Responsibilities

• Work on strategic projects to further develop the company in an international environment.
• Support M&A activities end to end — from identifying potential targets through deal execution to integration.
• Develop planning models, business cases, and scenario analyses to support decision-making.
• Prepare financial and strategic analyses and derive well-founded recommendations for action.
• Support the development of new business models and identify growth opportunities.
• Analyze market, competitive, and KPI data and conduct benchmarks.
• Contribute to the optimization of structures, governance, and management processes.
• Manage sub-projects and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Requirements

• Multiple years of relevant professional experience, e.g. in investment banking, consulting, corporate development, or comparable fields.
• Experience working on M&A or strategy projects.
• Strong business and financial understanding.
• Excellent analytical skills, ideally in an international corporate context.
• Ability to work in a structured manner, think holistically, and clearly prepare complex topics.
• Experience in creating models, analyses, and decision documents.
• Confident communication with various stakeholders and reliable presentation at top management or committee level.
• Fluent English (business level).
• German language skills are ideal.
