About the Role
This P6 Scheduler will work with the Project Manager to create timetables to manage both time and resources to ensure work is completed on time. The First 6 months they should prepare to be onsite meeting with the GCs, Subs and Field Management.
Responsibilities
- Manage the workload distribution and monitor the customer delivery and job installation progress.
- Coordinate with Project Management and Leads/Superintendents to create and maintain calendar for project implementation to completion.
- Identify and anticipate schedule disparities and correct or report to Project Management.
- Provide to the Project Manager all needed elements to issue Weekly/Monthly Reports.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
- Be self-motivated, positive in approach, professional and lead others to create, develop and implement project process improvement(s).
- Promote the Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients and business partners.
- Demonstrate proven problem solving skills, critical thinking skills and the ability to effectively read, write and give oral presentation(s).
- Demonstrate proven high skill level to interpret blueprints and other project documents, including but not limited to, specifications, reporting and quality requirements.
- Learn Company project management systems.
Requirements
- Must be able to travel to Temple once a quarter.
- Must have proven problem solving skills, critical thinking skills and the ability to effectively read, write and give oral presentation(s).
- Must have proven high skill level to interpret blueprints and other project documents, including but not limited to, specifications, reporting and quality requirements.
