About the Role
The Travel Agent Fulfillment will be responsible for the operational processing of ticketing, rebooking, and refund processes in various GDS systems, ensuring customer inquiries are handled in a service-oriented manner and daily operations run smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Reservations, refunds, and ticketing in GDS systems (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, Farelogix) and the Midoffice system Matrix.
- Processing rebookings through ticket reissues in GDS systems (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, Farelogix).
- Queue management in Matrix Ticket Automation.
- Fare calculations and checks in the IATA and net fare areas.
- Service-oriented handling of customer inquiries via phone, email, and queues.
- Reporting to the Team Lead.
Requirements
- Training as a travel agent (Reiseverkehrskauffrau/-mann or Tourismuskauffrau/-mann).
- Very good knowledge of the airline industry.
- Comprehensive airline product and fare knowledge, including ticketing/refund experience.
- Willingness for continuous development and improvement of one's own work area.
- Very good GDS knowledge in Amadeus.
- Basic knowledge in Sabre, Galileo, and/or Farelogix is an advantage.
- Confident use of MS Office.
- Ability to communicate complex issues clearly and understandably, both internally and externally.
- Correct prioritization of tasks during high workload.
- High degree of initiative, customer and service orientation, focused and flexible working.
- Good English skills, both spoken and written.
