About the Role
The Recovery Center of Niagara is seeking a dedicated Clinical Director to lead their inpatient substance abuse treatment team. This role involves spearheading trauma-informed care, overseeing a multidisciplinary team, and shaping the continuum of care.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe, high-quality delivery of clinical services in alignment with program philosophy and standards.
- Direct and mentor a multidisciplinary team including Clinical Supervisors, Counselors, Compliance Data Entry Clerk, Referral care Coordinators, and Recreation Coordinators.
- Manage initial assessments for newly arrived patients, assign caseloads, and provide individual and group therapy, case management, and crisis intervention.
- Plan and evaluate clinical services, review new curricula for appropriateness, and ensure staff are fully trained.
- Oversee comprehensive aftercare planning and ensure clinical record-keeping and charts meet governing agency regulations.
Requirements
- Master's Degree and New York State Licensure as a Qualified Health Professional (QHP) preferred (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LMHC).
- CASAC Advanced or Master level or NYSED licensed QHP Required.
- 5 years of proven, progressive experience delivering and managing substance abuse treatment, ideally in an inpatient setting.
- Strong background in trauma-informed care, family therapy, and clinical supervision.
- Exempt status with weekend on-call responsibilities for clinical escalations.
