About the Role

As a Cybersecurity Risk Analyst, you will apply your cyberspace operations experience to create solutions for a worldwide stage. You will leverage your expertise in various cybersecurity areas, including DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) guidance, Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E), system vulnerability, and compliance in support of Assessment and Authorization (A&A) throughout the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Your role is vital in assessing potential weaknesses, evaluating mitigation effectiveness, aggregating threat feeds, and informing senior leadership on emerging threats and technology.

Responsibilities

  • Apply cyberspace operations experience to create solutions.
  • Evaluate potential weaknesses and the effectiveness of mitigations for cybersecurity solutions.
  • Leverage cyberspace operations systems to aggregate threat feeds.
  • Inform senior leadership on emerging technology, security requirements, and threats.
  • Develop a way forward to meet organizational goals.
  • Work with headquarters-level decision makers on technical implementation of solutions.
  • Assess and inform operators and senior leadership on adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures.
  • Support system A&A efforts through cyber risk assessment, policy analysis, technology evaluations, and NIST security control validation.
  • Analyze system security implementations and application security.
  • Provide recommendations to decision makers and engineers.
  • Develop operation plans to support command and control.

Requirements

  • Experience in a cybersecurity or computer field, including supporting information assurance, networking, or systems administration.
  • Experience applying system security configurations to meet compliance standards.
  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity standards and the implementation of industry best practices.
  • Knowledge of Risk Management practices.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Ability to create written or verbal communication products for review.
