About the Role

The Project Superintendent - Logistics is responsible for the efficient scheduling, management, and coordination of all subcontractors, construction trades, and labor crews to ensure quality and construction progress according to the project Master Schedule. This role requires proven construction experience, leadership abilities, and a thorough understanding of construction plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

Permit document administration and control
Complete review and understanding of subcontractor’s scope of work
Coordinate safety meetings and overall responsibility for project safety
Control project access and traffic
Tool/equipment inventory, coordination and rental
Coordinate, schedule and maintain records of all project testing and certificates including concrete and soil testing
Coordinate with PM, PCM and PFE daily regarding project progress, S/C performance, QA/QC and reporting
Complete “3‐week look ahead schedule” and update master schedule with PCM
Complete Daily Log Reports (Procore)
Maintain “As Built” drawings for final submittal
Coordinate and schedule project inspections
Final inspection and proper close‐out documentation
Quality control of installed materials and Equipment
Site layout and control of benchmarks

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field
Minimum 3 years’ work experience as a construction Superintendent (In lieu of degree, 10+ years of work experience)
Must have project scheduling, planning, organization and document control
Superior communication and organization skills, especially when managing subcontractors and inspectors
OSHA Certification – In depth knowledge of OSHA safety standards and procedures
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Scheduling Programs and Document control software
Experience with Microsoft Project or Primavera (P6)
Experience in projects greater than $20 million
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Willingness to travel through the US
