About the Role
The Warehouse Supervisor ensures the receipt, coordination, and safety of goods coming through the warehouse, managing work flows efficiently and overseeing warehouse productivity to maximize operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily shift meetings, communicating safety and operational messages, taking suggestions and answering questions.
- Assign daily work duties to warehouse workers ensuring safety, service, productivity, and reliability requirements are met.
- Manage work flows efficiently.
- Maintain statistical information on employees, productivity, reliability, and equipment.
- Ensure that orders arrive and are dispatched on time to the appropriate destinations and in the expected quantities.
- Staff, schedule, train, evaluate, and develop warehouse team members.
- Oversee warehouse productivity by ensuring customer schedules are met and operational efficiency is maximized.
- Allocate necessary space for stock rotation, maintain appropriate inventory levels, and implement product loss controls.
- Perform other project or duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree with 3 to 5 plus years of warehouse experience and 0 to 1 plus years of people leadership experience OR High School Diploma/General Education Degree and 5 plus years of warehouse experience and 2 to 3 plus years of people leadership experience.
- Offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
