About the Role

We are seeking a Lead Architect to shape enterprise architecture at the intersection of ontology, AI for business intelligence, and Snowflake-native intelligence. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in insurance domain ontology, semantic technologies, AI-enabled analytics, and modern data architecture patterns, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into executive-ready recommendations. This is a hands-on architecture role requiring strong knowledge of RDF/OWL/JSON-LD, Python, Snowflake Cortex, AI4BI, NLQ-to-SQL, and multi-agent orchestration. The candidate must be able to lead architecture discussions, guide solution design, and communicate effectively with senior executives and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Design and govern enterprise ontologies for insurance concepts such as policies, claims, coverages, parties, products, risks, and losses.
  • Develop semantic models using RDF, OWL, and JSON-LD to support analytics, AI, search, and automation use cases.
  • Define ontology governance standards including stewardship, versioning, approval workflows, and lifecycle management.
  • Use Python to accelerate ontology creation and validation from tribal knowledge, unstructured documents, and data catalog sources.
  • Architect and implement solutions using Snowflake and its AI capabilities, including Cortex Analyst, Cortex Intelligence, and Cortex Search.
  • Design patterns for structured and unstructured data access using Snowflake-native technologies, including semantic search, conversational analytics, and NLQ-to-SQL translation.
  • Build multi-agent orchestration frameworks covering intent analysis, planning, tool selection, context engineering, and response synthesis.
  • Design enterprise data and AI architecture patterns that integrate structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data across business domains.
  • Lead executive and stakeholder conversations, explaining architecture options, tradeoffs, and implementation roadmaps clearly and confidently.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in data, analytics, AI, or enterprise architecture roles.
  • Deep hands-on expertise in ontology engineering and semantic modeling.
  • Strong insurance domain knowledge, including claims, underwriting, policy administration, or regulatory use cases.
  • Practical experience with RDF, OWL, JSON-LD, Python, and SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake and related AI capabilities such as Cortex Analyst, Cortex Intelligence and Cortex Search.
  • Experience with AI4BI, NLQ-to-SQL, enterprise search, and retrieval patterns.
  • Strong understanding of multi-agent systems and multi-agent orchestration patterns.
  • Ability to engage senior executives and lead architecture-level discussions.
  • Familiarity with data catalogs, metadata platforms, and ontology governance frameworks.
  • Exposure to Snowflake and AI associated services.
  • Experience in consulting, product strategy, or enterprise transformation environments.
  • Certifications in Snowflake, Azure, or related cloud architecture domains are a plus.
