About the Role
We are seeking an Underwriter who can solve critical problems and deliver value for the future of our business, ensuring our customers can live their lives with peace of mind.
Responsibilities
- Underwriting for various life insurance products based on medical assessment standards, guidelines, and internal rules (medical, financial, environmental assessment).
- Medical underwriting for reinstatements and mid-term additions.
- Operations for various systems including Ingenium (contract management system), Image Wharfwork, and pre-payment systems.
- Various underwriting-related tasks (inputting selective information, reinsurance inquiries, etc.).
- Responding to inquiries from sales branches.
- Contributing to business improvements, including revising medical underwriting standards, updating manuals, and system development.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of diseases and non-medical knowledge affecting mortality and morbidity rates (e.g., hobbies, occupations) for experienced individuals.
- Good decision-making ability.
- Good communication skills with customers, agents, and sales staff.
- Awareness of current issues and a spirit of inquiry.
- A desire for self-improvement.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
