About the Role

As an AI Product Manager, you will drive AI projects within our portfolio companies and the fund itself, from initial use-case ideation to final production implementation. You will combine product and user thinking with technical proximity, build prototypes yourself, and act as the interface between tech teams, portfolio stakeholders, and our Operating Partner AI.

Responsibilities

• Drive AI projects: Accompany use cases from idea to conception and implementation, collaborating with portfolio teams and the FLEX-AI team.
• Contribute product and user perspective: Ask the right questions, refine requirements from the user's viewpoint, and ensure technical possibilities are transformed into real products that function in daily use and production.
• Build rapid prototypes: Develop Proofs of Concept (PoCs) using tools like Cursor, Claude Code, and Python, which portfolio companies and the fund can use as a starting point for production implementation.
• Act as an interface: Work closely with the internal AI team, mediating between technical implementation, portfolio stakeholders, and the Operating Partner as a translator, driver, and sparring partner.
• Work independently, prioritize tasks, and drive initiatives forward with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional experience, ideally a mix of product or project work and technical proximity.
• Experience in building prototypes: Basic Python skills, familiarity with AI coding tools like Cursor or Claude Code, and ideally initial exposure to APIs and LLM integrations.
• Solid understanding of modern AI stacks (LLMs, RAG, Agents, Evals).
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented work approach.
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills (C1-C2 level).
• Passion for translating AI into practical business applications.
