About the Role
As part of KPMG's Audit & Assurance practice, you will deliver high-quality work supporting trust, transparency, and confidence across public and private organizations. The Canadian Resource Centre (CRC) Manager will support audit business units and the CRC Champions network with monthly reporting and budget modeling to manage CRC objectives and KPIs. This role provides direct support and guidance to offshore and onshore teams to help Canadian audit engagement teams effectively leverage the CRC.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including calls with the offshore management team and oversight of CRC functional mailboxes.
- Respond to feedback from onshore audit engagement teams.
- Provide direct support to audit engagement teams to effectively leverage the Audit CRC.
- Assist in overseeing the Quality (QMCI) team at the CRC in India, identifying quality improvement areas and overseeing solution implementation.
- Prepare training materials, how-to guides, monthly/quarterly newsletters, and other guidance documents for the internal CRC portal.
- Assist with CRC resource management from an onshore perspective, coordinating with national and local resource management teams.
- Leverage firm processes and programs to actively support the business.
- Provide support to geographic business units to achieve CRC objectives.
- Prepare monthly reporting packages for senior audit leadership and business unit leaders, including financial results and commentary on hours, results, and trends.
- Prepare ad hoc CRC presentations and PowerPoint decks for various stakeholders as requested by the National CRC leader.
- Act as a performance manager for more junior team members.
- Create, interpret, and/or apply policies, practices, laws, and/or regulations.
- Start the day earlier or work later than normal office hours to allow for sufficient overlap with the offshore management team.
- Work beyond normal workday or work week as business needs arise.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working with a public practice accounting firm, with at least 3 years in a management role.
- Manager or equivalent, with at least 2 years of experience with KPMG Canada or Big 4 or any professional services organizations.
- Minimum 5 years auditing and/or team management experience.
- Proficiency and knowledge of analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI, Power Query, Python, R, Alteryx, Microsoft PowerApps/Power Automate.
- Proficiency and knowledge of ServiceNow is an asset.
- Resourcefulness and creative problem-solving skills.
- Strong technical audit skills and varied audit experience.
- Proven time management and organizational skills.
- PCAOB accreditation is an asset.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience facilitating any of the Audit Foundations courses offered by KBS (or in a similar role) is an asset.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle varying priorities.

- Written and oral fluency in English is required.

Salary/Compensations
- KPMG Ontario Region Pay Range: $91,000 to $140,500
- KPMG BC Region Pay Range: $83,500 to $138,000
