About the Role
We are seeking a (Senior) Controller (m/f/d) with a focus on investments. In this role, you will work closely with management and take responsibility for several national and international companies.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for investment controlling of several companies
- Sparring partner for the management of the supported units
- Participation in monthly and quarterly closings in close coordination with general accounting
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly reports in a group environment, including intercompany reconciliations
- Cost center analyses
- Reporting to management, advisory board, and banks
- Planning and management of budgets and rolling forecasts
- Conducting scenario analyses and deriving well-founded recommendations for action
- Preparation of evaluations, analyses, and benchmarks
- Support in the preparation and coordination of annual financial statements (national & international)
- Participation in strategic projects (e.g., process optimization, digitalization, introduction of new tools)
- Contribution at group level (consolidation of financial data, further development and harmonization of reporting structures)
Requirements
- Completed degree in controlling, finance, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience (min. 3-5 years) in controlling or accounting
- Sound knowledge of accounting according to HGB (IFRS is an advantage)
- Proficient in SAP and LucaNet
- Very good Excel skills and confident handling of MS Office
- Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
- Analytical thinking skills and a structured, self-reliant way of working
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment of collaboration with various stakeholders
