Responsibilities
- Provide massage therapy to patients according to the written IDG plan of care.
- Initiate massage therapy programs and instruct other staff and family members on these programs and individualized goals.
- Perform assessments, evaluations, and establish therapeutic and functional goals for clients.
- Advise RN Case Manager on the patient’s response to therapy or changes in condition.
- Promote Agency philosophy to ensure quality of care.
- Ensure timely submission of all documentation.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Ensure overall compliance with local, state, and federal laws, Medicare regulations, and established personnel policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Current registration as a Massage Therapist in the State of employment.
- Minimum of one year of massage therapy experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Therapy skills as defined by generally accepted standards of practice.
- Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.
- Must have a current driver's license.
- Must have reliable transportation and provide ongoing valid and current auto liability insurance.
