Responsibilities

Provide massage therapy to patients according to the written IDG plan of care.
Initiate massage therapy programs and instruct other staff and family members on these programs and individualized goals.
Perform assessments, evaluations, and establish therapeutic and functional goals for clients.
Advise RN Case Manager on the patient’s response to therapy or changes in condition.
Promote Agency philosophy to ensure quality of care.
Ensure timely submission of all documentation.
Perform other duties as required.
Ensure overall compliance with local, state, and federal laws, Medicare regulations, and established personnel policies and procedures.

Requirements

Current registration as a Massage Therapist in the State of employment.
Minimum of one year of massage therapy experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
Therapy skills as defined by generally accepted standards of practice.
Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.
Must have a current driver's license.
Must have reliable transportation and provide ongoing valid and current auto liability insurance.
