About the Role

As a Visionary Project Executive, you will oversee the construction of diverse and innovative projects across the Southwest, including commercial, industrial, mission-critical, and water/wastewater treatment facilities. We are looking for someone with a proven ability to effectively manage multiple complex projects or large-scale construction programs with unparalleled accountability and success.

Responsibilities

  • Manage several complex projects simultaneously, or a large construction program with a high degree of effectiveness and accountability.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with the Vice President(s) of Operations and Vice President(s) of Field Operations.
  • Have overall responsibility for project team success, including alignment with Corbins culture and Core Values, project safety, quality, schedule, client satisfaction, and profitability.
  • Ensure all Project Manager responsibilities are properly managed and executed.
  • Participate in, or lead, the business development process, including client relationship management, proposal development, presentations, and negotiations.
  • Establish and maintain professional working relationships with owners, engineers, architects, and trade partners.
  • Understand and negotiate prime contract terms and conditions, contract documents, subcontract agreements, and purchase order agreements.
  • Ensure change orders and/or contract amendments are executed in a timely manner and within signatory limits.
  • Review cost models, cost estimates, and construction schedules in detail to ensure project success from preconstruction to final completion.
  • Champion the orderly and timely transition from preconstruction to construction.
  • Mentor and develop Project Managers for future leadership roles.

Requirements

  • Ability to assume responsibility, interface, and effectively communicate with others.
  • Possesses excellent organizational, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Experience leading project teams and successfully achieving project goals.

Skills

  • Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Experience Level

  • Minimum of five (5) years of relative construction experience as a Project Manager, General Superintendent or similar

Education Level

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Engineering
  • Extensive relative construction experience will be considered in lieu of formal education
