About the Role
This is a permanent opening for the Federal Executive Board of BÜNDNIS 90/DIE GRÜNEN. We offer an internship position each quarter as part of a mandatory internship. Starting dates are the first day of each quarter (January, March, July, October). Tasks may vary depending on the period and thematic focus. In the office of the Deputy Federal Chairman Dr. Heiko Knopf, you will gain comprehensive insight into the organizational and content work of a political party, as well as the planning and execution of political events.
Responsibilities
- Support in the preparation and execution of appointments
- Participation in the organizational and content preparation of appointments, events, and public appearances, as well as support in their execution
- Assistance in creating social media content
- Support in the conception, creation, and publication of contributions on events and current political topics
- Support in the content processing of local political issues and research on local developments and questions
- Support in the content engagement with political and social issues in Eastern Germany and their preparation
Requirements
- At least two completed semesters of university study
- Initial experience in the work of political parties, non-governmental organizations, social movements, or state institutions
- Curiosity about political topics and current social developments
- Interest and motivation to independently take on smaller projects
- Good knowledge of social media and a feel for target-group-oriented communication
- Enjoyment of communication with external partners in German and English
- Teamwork skills as well as a reliable and structured way of working
- A proactive attitude and the willingness to take responsibility
- The ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new subject areas
- Affinity with green values
- An internship in the Federal Office is intended as part of a training program. Therefore, we only ask students to apply who are required to complete a mandatory internship as part of their studies.
