About the Role

Responsible for investigating and confirming the facts of loss for automobile accidents. Determines coverage, liability, and damages, and negotiates claims within the limit of authority. Seeking a self-motivated Auto Adjuster to join a growing team, ideal for those with experience in liability investigations, coverage review, and end-to-end claims management.

Responsibilities

  • Partners with assigned representatives for claims involving fraud or subrogation to achieve the best outcome.
  • Recognizes and identifies vehicle body parts and understands potential property damage.
  • Identifies customer needs and works to meet them using appropriate customer service skills.
  • Determines subrogation or fraud potential and the appropriate handling method.
  • Applies an intermediate understanding of company insurance policies, the industry, and organizational relationships.
  • Handles investigation of all aspects of auto claims, including coverage, damages, and subrogation, with discretion and independence within an increased level of authority.

Requirements

  • Must terminate all existing insurance license appointments prior to onboarding and not hold any outside appointments during employment.
  • Applicants seeking an adjuster role who also hold a resident producer license must formally surrender that license when instructed.
  • Candidates must possess authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided.
  • Must have a dedicated, private workspace free from distractions when working from home.
  • Requires appropriate desk and seating when working from home.
  • Requires reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload when working from home.
