About the Role

Sky View Rehabilitation and Health Care is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to join their team. This role involves assisting in the planning, organization, development, and implementation of occupational therapy services to help residents achieve their highest level of functioning and prepare for community reentry.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, developing, and implementing Occupational Therapy services.
• Plan, develop, organize, evaluate, and implement programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures for the occupational therapy program.
• Interpret and instruct in physical therapy policies and procedures to personnel, residents, and family members.
• Participate in discharge planning, development, and implementation of resident care plans and resident assessments (MDS).
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants as required.
• Maintain treatment records, resident files, and progress notes.
• Maintain an adequate liaison with families and residents.

Requirements

• Must possess a current license and registration to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the State of NY.
• Must possess current malpractice insurance and a license in good standing.
