About the Role

Picton Mahoney Asset Management is seeking a strategic and content-driven Senior Manager, Education to lead the evolution of PICTON Learn into the industry's leading destination for alternative investment education. This role will own the strategy, development, and promotion of educational content for financial advisors and investors across various digital channels, transforming complex investment concepts into engaging learning experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy and evolution of PICTON Learn, developing a comprehensive education roadmap and curriculum.
  • Identify knowledge gaps and create educational content on alternative investments, portfolio construction, and market trends.
  • Develop learning journeys to support advisors and investors across the customer lifecycle.
  • Partner with Investments, Product, Sales, and Compliance to ensure content accuracy and regulatory alignment.
  • Lead the creation of educational content in multiple formats, including CE-accredited courses, articles, guides, videos, infographics, webinars, and interactive tools.
  • Translate complex investment concepts into engaging, accessible content for advisor and investor audiences.
  • Build a scalable content library for evergreen education and timely market commentary.
  • Work with subject matter experts and external partners to produce high-quality educational experiences.
  • Develop integrated promotion strategies for PICTON Learn content across social media, email, website, and digital campaigns.
  • Create nurture and drip campaigns to deliver relevant educational content throughout the customer journey.
  • Collaborate with the social media lead to repurpose educational content into engaging social-first formats.
  • Optimize content discoverability through SEO best practices and digital content optimization.
  • Define KPIs for educational engagement, learning completion, and content effectiveness.
  • Monitor performance and learner behavior to refine the education strategy and improve user experience.
  • Stay current on advisor education trends, adult learning best practices, AI-enabled content development, and evolving digital learning technologies.
  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate research, content development, and learning experience design.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of experience in content strategy, education marketing, learning and development, or content marketing within financial services, asset management, wealth management, or another regulated industry.
  • Strong understanding of investment products, financial markets, and advisor education requirements.
  • Experience developing Continuing Education (CE) accredited learning programs for financial professionals.
  • Proven ability to create engaging educational content across written, visual, video, and digital formats.
  • Experience developing customer journey and nurture content strategies across web, email, and social channels.
  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning best practices.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts.
  • Familiarity with SEO, content analytics, and digital content optimization.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT to improve content development and production.
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills, with experience working cross-functionally with subject matter experts and compliance teams.
  • Highly collaborative, innovative, and passionate about creating educational experiences that build trust and deliver measurable business impact.
