About the Role

We are seeking a Tax Assistant (m/f/d) to join our flexible and support team. This role is ideal for individuals strong in financial accounting who can quickly adapt to new clients and thrive in a varied work environment, even with short-notice assignments.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for ongoing financial accounting during colleagues' absences, whether short-term or long-term.
• Systematically familiarize yourself with existing accounting systems and reliably continue them.
• Review existing financial accounting for completeness, plausibility, and quality, identify optimization potential, and support the maintenance of uniform accounting standards.
• Support in payroll accounting based on experience.
• Work routinely with DATEV and Unternehmen online, navigating digital workflows proficiently.
• Ensure all ongoing tasks are completed on time and with care.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as a Tax Assistant or an alternative qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in a tax consultancy environment, preferably in small or medium-sized businesses.
• Very good DATEV skills, including proficiency with DATEV and Unternehmen online.
• Self-organized and able to quickly familiarize yourself with new clients.
• Enthusiasm for variety and continuous learning, with a desire for professional development and diverse tasks.
