About the Role
The Campground Ranger position involves patrolling campground grounds, answering guest questions, enforcing rules, and ensuring guest safety. The ideal candidate can remain calm in stressful situations and act in accordance with local, state, and federal laws.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the property for issues or potential problems.
- Ensure the property is properly secured.
- Ensure guests comply with resort rules and respond to concerns.
- Contact law enforcement if necessary.
- Monitor incoming guests and validate access.
- Perform routine patrols and inspections of golf carts and rentals.
- Take camping reservations, check guests in and out, and sell items.
- Prioritize guest safety and happiness.
- Perform on-call emergency service as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
- Ability to use computer applications.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to assess situations, use quick and reasonable judgment, and resolve problems diplomatically.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Valid driver's license, good driving record, and current auto insurance.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays on a regular basis.
