About the Role
Sayville Ford, Long Island's Ford Giant, is seeking to expand its team. As Long Island's busiest and largest Ford Service Department, we offer opportunities for career growth within a family-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Receive and process all parts orders.
- Manage and control parts inventory.
- Create bin locations for new stock.
- Notify customers of parts arrival.
- Report parts shortages and damage discrepancies.
- Process and shelve accessories.
- Collaborate directly with technicians.
- Answer phones and customer inquiries promptly.
- Handle e-commerce orders.
- Perform light forklift duties.
- Process warranty scrap.
- Maintain a neat and orderly workspace.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Comply with federal, state, and local regulations applicable to the industry.
Requirements
- Prior auto parts sales experience is required.
- Eagerness to improve in a dynamic work environment.
- Strong interpersonal and time management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret safety and maintenance documents.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check.
