About the Role

In this role, you will develop strategic market recommendations for a range of clients as part of an enterprising new business plan. As a Digital Strategist, you are the foundation of any creative project, providing the team with insights gleaned from market research and a deep understanding of a client’s brand and objectives. Your curious nature and analytical mind will enable you to build forward-thinking plans that extend beyond a single project.

Responsibilities

  • Create end-to-end digital marketing strategies following the DEPT® Planning Methodology.
  • Research products, services, and current strategies to identify new opportunities.
  • Analyze and interpret research and reporting to inform and improve strategies.
  • Ensure plans align with client goals, are optimized for multiple audiences, drive desired actions, and are effectively tested and measured.
  • Support New Business efforts through research and insights.
  • Create convincing propositions and present strategy to clients.
  • Help Account and Creative teams plan, optimize, implement, test, and measure.
  • Take client briefs and work with Account Managers to cascade to the wider team, providing an ideal environment for creative development.
  • Manage omni-channel digital strategies covering email, web, display, and social, with a core focus on CRM and in-depth email marketing.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role with proven success.
  • Understanding of how to turn business goals into actionable marketing goals.
  • Knowledge of using data and insight to create profiles and personas.
  • Understanding of how to interpret data to improve results.
  • Channel expertise in email, web, display, and social, with an emphasis on innovation and possibility.
  • Understanding of A/B and multivariate testing methodologies.
  • Understanding of and ability to articulate best practice in digital marketing.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Natural problem solver.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.
  • Inquisitive nature to learn and understand how things work.
