About the Role

As an Investment Banking Analyst at BMO Capital Markets, you will gain valuable exposure to a wide number of industries and work with various financial products. Analysts play a critical role in the transaction team and will begin their careers with Global Orientation and the Global Analyst and Associate Program (GAAP). This program provides training in core investment banking skills and BMO-specific training to foster growth and networking opportunities.

Responsibilities

Conduct industry and company research and analysis
Develop client presentations
Write internal and external marketing memoranda
Perform valuation analysis, financial analysis, and complex modeling exercises
Support client relationships and business development
Balance multiple responsibilities effectively to meet deadlines

Requirements

Enrolled in an undergraduate degree program, graduating in Dec. 2027 or Spring 2028
Preferred minimum GPA of 3.4/4.0
Outstanding academic achievement, leadership experience, and peer recognition
Demonstrated leadership attributes in work, school, or community
Excellent analytical skills in business, financial, and credit analysis areas
Strong interpersonal skills within a demanding team environment
Time management skills and proficiency in reviewing, assessing, and providing detailed information on multiple projects
Demonstrated proactivity, resiliency, and a positive attitude
Capacity to independently function as part of a team through self-motivation
Strong work ethic and high professional integrity
Legally authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require sponsorship in the future
