About the Role
STERIS offers a variety of repair solutions for surgical instruments, including onsite mobile repair, in-house lab services, and national repair centers. This entry-level position provides training for surgical instrument inspection, repair, and refurbishment, performed both in a repair lab and in a field service capacity. Technicians ensure superior customer experience by delivering timely and quality repairs that meet compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform surgical instrument inspection, repair, and refurbishment.
- Work in a repair lab and in a field service capacity.
- Deliver superior Customer Experience by providing timely and quality repairs to meet compliance standards.
- Occasional travel by driving a company vehicle.
Requirements
- Must be based out of New York.
- Must pass a 7-year driving record check.
- Workdays start and end at the Washington Heights repair lab.
- All driving time on the company repair truck is on the clock/paid work time.
