About the Role
Strategic and operational responsibility for the procurement of construction, service, and framework agreements within the real estate portfolio, with an annual contract volume of approximately €100 million. Development and implementation of a company-wide procurement strategy considering costs, quality, sustainability, and risks.
Responsibilities
- Strategic and operational responsibility for procurement of construction, service, and framework agreements in the real estate portfolio (annual contract volume approx. €100 million)
- Development and implementation of a company-wide procurement strategy considering costs, quality, sustainability, and risks
- Management of complex tenders and award procedures (e.g., construction services, FM, technical services, media, planning services, etc.)
- Negotiation and conclusion of contracts with national and international suppliers and service providers
- Building, evaluating, and further developing a high-performing supplier portfolio
- Close collaboration with project development, asset management, property management, utilities, technical departments, and controlling
- Identification and realization of savings potentials as well as continuous optimization of procurement processes
- Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal company requirements
- Market, price, and trend analyses for strategic decision support
- Preparation, support, and execution of internal training
- Creation and control of KPIs for supplier monitoring
- Design and enforcement of contractual penalties
Requirements
- Completed degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, or comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in strategic procurement, ideally in the real estate, construction, or project development industry
- Sound knowledge of contract, award, and supplier management
- Strong negotiation skills, assertiveness, and strategic thinking ability
- Very good understanding of costs and processes, as well as analytical skills
- Experience with procurement and ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
- Communicative, structured, and team-oriented personality
- Fluent German and good English skills, both written and spoken
