About the Role

The Facility Maintenance Technician will help provide a safe and well-maintained environment to ensure Advanced Pain Care and Advanced Surgical Center sites are ready for business daily.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that the electrical and mechanical aspects of all facilities perform effectively and efficiently, including air conditioning, elevators, fire safety systems, and other mechanical systems, as well as ensuring the distribution of electricity, heating, lighting, and water supplies.
  • Completing and documenting scheduled maintenance and work orders in CMMS.
  • Carrying out construction and maintenance duties in a cost-effective manner and estimating the cost of materials needed.
  • Interpreting blueprints and diagrams to plan material and labor needed for tasks.
  • Maintaining a list of contacts, vendors, and service agreements for each business location.
  • Managing keys and access at each business location and maintaining accurate logs.
  • Maintaining inventory and purchasing supplies, materials, and tools.
  • Performing journey-level tasks assigned to two or more skilled trades, such as HVAC, plumbing, basic electrical work, and labor.
  • Performing tasks such as lock/hardware replacement, painting, drywall repair, mounting shelves and framed items, and other handyman tasks.
  • Complying with safety regulations, emergency procedures, and security protocols.
  • Maintaining clean and orderly work areas.
  • Maintaining regular and predictable attendance.
  • Following instructions and performing related work as assigned.
  • Responding to urgent facility requests promptly, notifying the Building Engineer and Chief Procurement Officer of any safety concerns or business impacts, and responding to facility requests via email within 24 hours, prioritizing repairs.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
  • Adhering to Advanced Pain Care’s Policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work as scheduled – typically from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday-Friday, with possible weekends or early AM hours for scheduled PM or emergencies.
  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, and stretch.
  • Must be able to lift and move objects up to 75 pounds consistently with heavier weight necessary at times.
  • Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate office equipment.
  • Strong dedication to supporting the facility by working in a safe, customer-focused manner.
  • Must be highly self-motivated.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and comfortably via email, text, and phone, including written and verbal skills.
  • Effectively manages the day by organizing and prioritizing.
  • Good driving record and reliable transportation.
  • Protects patient information and maintains confidentiality.

Experience Level

  • 4+ years of hands-on facilities experience with an emphasis in mechanical maintenance
  • 4+ years of working experience involving HVAC and refrigeration, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and mechanical skills to perform facilities and equipment repairs

Education Level

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Associate's or higher degree from a vocational school or college preferred

Salary/Compensations

  • $2500.00 Sign-on Bonus
