About the Role

As an Android Software Engineer, you will design, develop, deploy, and maintain the Android application of our own product. You will help deliver seamless user experiences and contribute to technical decisions across the full application lifecycle. This is a 12-month fixed-term position. You will shape our Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) strategy, identify opportunities for shared business logic, and bring forward ideas and architectural proposals. You will own the full Android application lifecycle, ensure high quality through automated testing, code reviews, and CI/CD practices, and deliver stable releases. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers and create seamless, high-quality user experiences.

Continuously improve usability and performance based on user feedback and data-driven insights

Requirements

5+ years of professional experience in Android software development
Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java
Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform is a strong plus
Hands-on experience with Dagger, Koin, Coroutines, Flow, MVVM, Clean Architecture, Jetpack Compose, REST, and Room / SQLDelight
Experience with testing frameworks and quality practices (JUnit, MockK, Espresso – unit and UI testing)
Solid understanding of software architecture, scalable systems, and code optimization
Experience with Gradle and Kotlin DSL
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD workflows (GitLab Pipelines, Fastlane), Crashlytics, and Google Play Console
An ownership mindset with end-to-end accountability and a strong drive to deliver results
Strong learning agility and reflective thinking, with the ability to continuously improve
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
A solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
Fluent English; German is a plus
