About the Role

Harvey's Employee Experience team is seeking an early hire to help design and run employee experience programs consistently across its global offices. This role involves establishing new processes and programs, combining hands-on event logistics, engagement initiatives, and vendor coordination, with creative latitude to define what a great employee experience looks like.

Responsibilities

  • Manage global signature events from conception to completion, including company anniversaries and holiday parties.
  • Serve as the liaison between central creative vision and global offices, collaborating with local vendors and planners.
  • Provide on-the-ground event execution in New York, managing vendors and troubleshooting issues.
  • Oversee recognition programs and milestones, including birthdays, work anniversaries, and gifting.
  • Manage the operational engine for Harvey Honors, including nominations, logistics, and fulfillment.
  • Oversee the swag program, including new-hire kits, branded gear, and a self-serve swag store.
  • Coordinate Harvey Hangouts, including facilitators, budget, participation tracking, and event execution.
  • Develop and manage the company-wide events calendar, themes, timing, and guidelines.
  • Handle operational backbone tasks such as RSVPs, dietary and accessibility needs, contracts, invoices, shipping, and budget tracking.
  • Implement feedback loops through surveys, pulse checks, and focus groups to inform future programming.
  • Define and propose new employee experience initiatives, potentially A/B testing approaches.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on event experience, ideally in a dedicated role.
  • Experience could be from in-house corporate events, workplace teams, event production agencies, law firms, or hospitality.
  • Proven ability to manage event logistics repeatedly.
  • High tolerance for ambiguity and a strong bias toward action.
  • Sharp organizational instincts with the ability to juggle multiple events and programs simultaneously.
  • Enjoyment of the operational side of event management.
  • Comfort communicating across time zones and cultures.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
