About the Role
Kimley-Horn is seeking Electrical Engineering students for its White Plains, New York office, focusing on the Renewable Energy team. This role offers exposure to solar/energy projects, particularly in battery storage and PV.
Responsibilities
- Work on projects including photometrics, lighting, power distribution, and EV charging.
- Gain exposure to solar/energy projects with a focus in battery storage and PV.
- Assist with technical specification and report writing for electrical equipment cost research.
- Utilize technical software programs to analyze, produce, and quality control client deliverables.
- Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines.
- Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company and client practices.
Requirements
- In the process of receiving an ABET accredited Electrical Engineering Degree (Bachelors or Masters).
