About the Role
Supporting the day-to-day operation and control of the Claims function to ensure claims are processed and settled in a timely and equitable manner, while actively striving to develop and improve service and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Produce feedback to Underwriters and Management regarding claim issues and related risk information to improve underwriting standards.
- Demonstrate adherence to Lloyds minimum standards and assist Underwriters and Claims Adjusters.
- Ensure all allocated claims are controlled within company philosophies and SLAs.
- Attend market meetings and conference calls as necessary.
- Ensure customers are treated fairly at all times.
- Log and conclude all complaint-related issues and incidents in accordance with company policy.
- Practice and promote TMHCC core values to internal and external contacts.
- Undertake any other ad hoc activities or project work required.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years claims adjusting experience, including managing Complex Energy claims in the London Market.
- Excellent knowledge of ECF for both Lloyds and predominantly LIRMA markets.
- Very good technical coverage knowledge.
- Strong working knowledge of service providers such as loss adjusters and associated experts.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for liaising with outsourcing partners, negotiation, and working with brokers, loss adjusters, and lawyers.
- Exceptional time and organizational management skills to adapt quickly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- IT literate, including Microsoft (Word, Excel, Outlook).
