About the Role
Product Operations plays a crucial role in scaling how Mercury builds products by establishing operating systems, programs, and rhythms that enable product teams to focus on innovation. This role involves owning high-impact programs and continuously improving them as the company grows, partnering with leadership to translate strategy into durable operating systems.
Responsibilities
- Own Mercury's Product Launch Program, including the operating model, review processes, and retrospectives.
- Lead the New Grad PM Rotational Program, coordinating rotations and evolving the program for development.
- Own the onboarding experience for new Product Managers, ensuring quick ramp-up through programming, documentation, and connections.
- Drive Product Culture programming, designing and operating programs for internal rituals, external events, and thought leadership.
- Drive Cross-Functional Programs, leading initiatives across Product, Engineering, Design, Communications, Recruiting, and People to ensure clarity and momentum.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in Product Operations, Program Management, Business Operations, Chief of Staff, Consulting, or a similar cross-functional role, ideally supporting product or engineering organizations in a high-growth technology company.
- A track record of owning cross-functional programs from concept through execution, balancing strategic thinking with exceptional operational follow-through.
- Strong systems thinking, with the ability to design repeatable operating mechanisms for scaling organizations.
- An instinct to improve rather than maintain, proactively making processes simpler, faster, and more effective.
- Excellent judgment and comfort operating in ambiguity, translating high-level objectives into clear plans.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, managing multiple concurrent initiatives with high quality.
- A product mindset, approaching internal operations with a focus on user needs, outcomes, and iteration.
- A bias toward action paired with sound judgment, balancing speed and quality in a fast-moving environment.

- US employees outside of the New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, or the San Francisco Bay Area: $109,500 - $136,900
- Canadian employees (any location): 115,000 CAD - 143,700 CAD
