About the Role

As an E-Technik Mastermind for our battery storage products, you will develop groundbreaking hardware concepts from idea to implementation, focusing on medium-voltage applications. You will act as a hands-on problem solver, technically evaluating new projects and realizing initiatives. You will collaborate closely with partners, identify and develop new relationships, and represent our positions in technical discussions with grid operators. Additionally, you will manage technical alignments and support certification processes as an electrical specialist. Your project management experience and collaborative communication style will drive team and project development. As part of a startup, you will think entrepreneurially and be passionate about contributing to our shared goals.

Responsibilities

Develop new connection and measurement concepts for battery storage in industrial environments, including integration with PV, and derive necessary hardware for grid connection and data logging.
Shape the system architecture of our storage projects, defining connection, measurement, and protection concepts, including operational strategy and integration with existing infrastructure.
Analyze electrotechnical documents (e.g., site plans, grid connection schematics, SLDs) and evaluate locations and customer inquiries regarding feasibility, connectivity, and expansion potential.
Support projects through to implementation, conduct technical discussions with grid operators and partners, and assist with certification as the responsible electrical specialist.

Requirements

Hold a Master Electrician certification, state-certified technician qualification, or a degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or Business Engineering (with a focus on Electrical Engineering/Renewables) with above-average success.
Possess at least 2 years of relevant professional experience in energy technology/grid connection, with a focus on medium-voltage systems (preferably including switching authorization).
Proficiently read, interpret, and independently create technical drawings (site plans, SLDs, circuit diagrams) using common tools.
Demonstrate a passion for the energy transition and ideally have prior knowledge in battery storage, PV, or energy markets.
Take responsibility for products and the team, remain calm and solution-oriented in complex project environments, possess a strong interface mindset (Technology-Business), and show above-average commitment and genuine drive for development.
Have very good German language skills, both written and spoken, to confidently represent complex issues to clients and authorities.
