About the Role
We are seeking a student assistant (m/f/d) for our public relations department, focusing on Social Media & Content, with up to 20 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Creation and preparation of content for our social media channels (including X, Instagram, LinkedIn, Bluesky, YouTube)
- Development of formats (e.g., Reels, Stories, Threads) that convey our content understandably and appealingly
- Monitoring of trends and platform dynamics (formats, tonalities, topics)
- Support in community management (comments, interaction, contextualization of debates)
- Simple video and image editing (e.g., cutting clips, creating graphics)
- Support in maintaining our website (WordPress)
- Contribution to the evaluation of social media performance (e.g., reach, engagement) and derivation of improvements
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a student (field of study open - e.g., Political Science, Communication Science, Eastern European Studies, Media, or similar)
- Interest in our topics (liberal democracy, international politics, Eastern Europe, etc.)
- Intensive use of social media with a good sense for formats, trends, and platform logic
- Independent work ethic, reliability, and willingness to contribute own ideas
- Application includes a short CV and content examples (links/screenshots)
