The Freelance Firm is seeking a qualified, experienced, and dedicated New York-based Immigration Attorney to provide in-person coverage for Master Calendar Hearings and Individual Hearings. This role involves supporting law firms with remote, on-demand legal services.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-person coverage for Master Calendar Hearings and Individual Hearings in the New York area.
- Select hearings from a weekly shared calendar that align with your schedule.
Requirements
- Licensed and in good standing to practice law in New York.
- Must be able to attend in-person hearings in the New York area.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Immigration law is preferred.
- Understanding of local rules and court system.
- Well-organized with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Self-starter capable of working independently.
