About the Role
As a Tactical Security Guard, your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk, and act accordingly is paramount. Physical ability is essential for patrolling various environments, and your keen observation and social skills are key strengths.
Responsibilities
- Patrol parking facilities in Downtown Toronto.
- Respond to incidents and de-escalate situations.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist the public.
- Support individuals in need with professionalism and respect.
- Conduct interior and exterior patrols to maintain a visible security presence.
- Respond to medical and emergency situations until emergency services arrive.
- Complete accurate incident reports and communicate key details.
- Work closely with emergency services and site management when required.
Requirements
- Authorization to work in Canada.
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License.
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certification (WSIB approved).
- Valid Ontario Driver's license with clean driver's abstract.
- Minimum 1 year of tactical experience.
- Completion of a Police Foundations diploma, or Police experience, or Canadian military experience, or Certified Protection Officer (CPO) certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
