Responsibilities

  • Conduct weekly Revenue Management Meetings to evaluate the current 50-week booking window.
  • Prepare reports and analyses for Revenue Management Meetings.
  • Analyze the impact of group bookings on occupancy, average rate, and rooms profit.
  • Review and approve group proposals with Sales and/or General Manager.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Department on group rates.
  • Analyze revisions to group bookings and prepare revised analyses.
  • Identify market mix variations to stimulate revenue without increasing costs.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of internal incentive programs and provide payback analysis.
  • Assist the General Manager in adjusting incentive programs.
  • Maintain software programs for rooms revenue management, including Concerto, HCM, Opera, and Delphi/Profit Pack.
  • Collaborate with Sales & Marketing and Front Office Directors to ensure departmental objectives align with revenue management goals.
  • Establish hotel pricing levels across all segments.
  • Manage daily room inventory and monitor group blocks for availability.
  • Develop and implement pricing, yield, and selling strategies in coordination with regional commercial teams, sales, management, and ownership.
  • Monitor competitor strategies and local market dynamics, presenting action plans to management.
  • Communicate occupancy fluctuations to operational departments for staffing and efficiency management.
  • Assist with annual hotel budget development and results analysis.

Requirements

  • Previous Revenue Management experience in New York City as a Revenue Manager or Director is required.
  • 2 plus years of hotel management experience is required.
  • Must speak and write fluent English.
