About the Role

The Erasmus-Gruppe operates 12 facilities, guiding over 860 children towards independent, confident, and responsible lives. We utilize the immersion method, with over 290 employees teaching children three languages from 10 months old. Our focus is on multilingual education.

Responsibilities

  • Education, care, and upbringing of children in three languages using reform-pedagogical approaches.
  • Advising and supporting the team on inclusion and the development of children with integration status.
  • Working in a highly motivated, trilingual international team.
  • Further developing the quality of our pedagogical work.
  • Individual support for children in group work.
  • Regular team meetings.
  • Parental involvement.

Requirements

  • Completed training as a childcare professional or a degree in social pedagogy, state-recognized or with equivalent recognition as a pedagogical specialist in the early childhood sector in Berlin.
  • Solid and well-founded values education combined with openness to the adventure world of our children.
  • Empathy.
  • Enjoyment of working with children.
  • High standards for one's own work and the work of others.
  • Interest in looking beyond the obvious.
  • Ability to listen and understand.
  • Willingness for a 2-3 day observation period at the facility.
