About the Role
As a Concierge Security Guard, your primary focus is on customer service, engaging with people in environments like office towers, hotels, and shopping centers to ensure they feel confident and supported.
Responsibilities
- Perform customer service duties including welcoming guests, checking identification, and providing directions.
- Manage access control systems.
- Conduct foot patrols to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Inspect security equipment and report any necessary maintenance.
- Perform computer-based tasks.
- Respond to incidents, administer first aid, and coordinate with emergency services.
- Document incidents through written reports and communicate security concerns.
- Answer inquiries in person and over the phone.
Requirements
- Authorized to work in Canada.
- Possess a valid Ontario security license.
- Hold a WSIB-approved first aid certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of security experience.
- Fluent in French.
- Minimum high school diploma.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Proficient in basic phone and computer operations.
