About the Role

Join Ultra Intelligence & Communications' Mission Solutions team, redefining defense technology by providing innovative solutions for mission-critical operations. Enhance situational awareness, tactical command and control, and video data exchange in a dynamic, multi-domain environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform design and development of integrated avionics and communications systems.
• Provide expert judgment and analysis for technical product and system design, development, and implementation.
• Resolve highly complex technical issues and conduct advanced research.
• Defend work and design approach using Systems Engineering concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Recommend alterations to development and design to improve product and procedure quality.
• Plan and accomplish goals using applicable experience and judgment.
• Implement planning and reflection cadences across multiple project teams to synchronize activities.
• Increase development efficiency by guiding flow, architecture, design quality, code quality, system quality, and release quality.
• Apply Systems Engineering concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Mentor junior engineers in Systems Engineering best practices.
• Develop and write system test plans and procedures according to industry standards.
• Simulate end-user operations and execute test procedures.
• Support the generation of testable requirements and design test bed architecture.
• Write detailed test cases and articulate results in a chosen lifecycle management tool.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an Engineering-related field.
• Active Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance required (U.S. Citizenship is mandatory).
• 8+ years of experience in Systems Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologies.
• Experience with simulation tools and techniques for system design, analysis, and validation.
