About the Role
The Pricing Analyst will compile data from various systems, perform variance analysis on costs and pricing, and prepare specialized reports to support the sales function.
Responsibilities
- Audit prices entered on orders ensuring compliance with established guidelines
- Prepare order variance report
- Compile data and prepare profitability reports by customer by product
- Prepare future price lists
- Prepare monthly sales reports.
- Perform costs comparisons and analysis
- Prepare and update bi-weekly aged inventory reports and update with comments.
- Prepare performance tracker files for customers
- Update costing system with price information
- Complete ad-hoc reports as required
Requirements
- University degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field emphasizing numerical analysis and quantitative methods
- 2 years of experience in data analysis and revenue growth
- Proficiency in MS Office with intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize
- Strong communication (oral and written) and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and with little supervision in a high volume fast paced environment
- Candidates who are 18 years or older are required to complete a criminal and background check.
