About the Role

Geotab is seeking a Solutions Engineer to showcase and adapt Geotab solutions for partners and end-users by identifying customer needs, developing customized solutions, and supporting partners in overcoming their unique business challenges. This role is fundamental in driving Geotab's strategies and advancing business objectives across sales channels, customer care, and product management.

Responsibilities

Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on the Geotab ecosystem, empowering partners and end-users to maximize their use of Geotab's technology and solutions.
Conduct technical activities ranging from discovery and requirements gathering to delivering compelling demonstrations and presentations.
Assess and analyze partner and end-user business challenges, propose viable solutions, and support partner upskilling.
Maintain accurate documentation of all customer and partner engagements.
Work closely with revenue-generating teams as a key technical resource.
Collaborate with product management teams to surface valuable feedback and contribute to continuous improvement of the company's offerings.
Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the Geotab ecosystem.
Engage and collaborate with partners and end-users to optimize their utilization of Geotab's technology, products, and solutions.
Contribute to sales growth, ecosystem expansion, and customer retention.
Ensure partner and end-user satisfaction through prompt and accurate service.
Support Geotab's partner upskilling, driving them towards excellence to support customers across unique channels.
Identify Geotab's viability and propose alternative approaches when necessary.
Provide partner and end-user feedback to contribute to the continuous improvement of the company's offerings.
Keep and maintain accurate documentation and records of customer/partner engagements, solution designs and deliverables.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and/or work experience may be substituted.
Experience in a relevant technical field, such as software engineering, data analysis, or systems integration, with a focus on customer-facing roles.
Strong communicator and problem-solver with a customer-first mindset.
Solid business acumen.
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Genuine desire to stay current with emerging technologies.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer support.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
