About the Role
Responsible for providing client relationship management and investment banking services including strategic advisory services to corporate and private equity clients related to M&A, debt and equity capital raising. Industry coverage includes industrials, financial sponsors, consumer and retail, healthcare, financial institutions, energy, and technology, media and telecom. Professionals are expected to generate a balanced mix of M&A, debt and equity capital raising of $7 million to $30 million. Additionally, professionals are expected to "sell the bank" by positioning treasury and payment solutions, and other services. Professionals will also serve corporate banking and commercial clients with strategic advisory and investment banking services in partnership with coverage professionals.
Responsibilities
- Works closely with senior CIB professionals
- Performs assigned duties with some independence, including due diligence, document processing, financial modeling, statistical analysis, research, and presentation development
- Serves as a member of merger and acquisition and capital raising transaction teams, providing credit underwriting support, drafting information memoranda, and developing management and investor presentations
Requirements
- BA/BS degree
- Proven analytical ability and attention to detail
- Solid leadership and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Some related work experience since graduation from an undergraduate program
