About the Role
The Global Industrials Group (GIG) is a leading investment banking team covering diverse industry verticals. This role offers the opportunity to work on large, high-profile, and often cross-border deals, interacting daily with global colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining complex financial models
- Performing various financial analyses, including valuations and merger effects
- Conducting comprehensive and in-depth company and industry research
- Preparing presentation and other materials for clients
- Communicating and interacting with deal team members, including those in international regions and in various product groups
- Managing several projects at once and working effectively as an individual and as part of a team
- Playing a key role in supporting origination, opportunity evaluation and deal execution, working on a broad scope of assignments and products across financial services
- Participating in due diligence sessions
- Working closely with senior bankers in day-to-day client coverage and making an immediate contribution
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Previous Investment Banking experience
- 1-3 years of experience in Global Industrials industry preferred
- Advanced technical proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage productively with senior team members
- Assertiveness, initiative, leadership, strong work ethic, team focus
- A track record of superior performance in extracurricular and professional activities
- Ability to work collaboratively and under tight deadlines with minimum direct supervision
