About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and apply quantum computing workflow or quantum-inspired approaches to analyze datasets from sensing systems or energy-industry-relevant problems.
  • Contribute to publishable research outcomes, with deliverables including technical documentation, presentations, and a journal manuscript or conference paper based on the project results.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, electrical engineering, physics, applied mathematics, or closely related field.
  • Strong programming experience in Python and familiarity with machine learning.
  • Ph.D. in computer science, electrical engineering, physics, applied mathematics, or closely related field.
  • Experience with quantum algorithms, quantum computing, quantum annealing, variational quantum circuits, quantum machine learning, or quantum-inspired optimization.
  • Experience with quantum software frameworks such as Qiskit, PennyLane, Cirq, D-Wave Ocean, TensorFlow Quantum, or similar tools.
  • All candidates must have valid U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and maintain that valid work authorization throughout employment.
