About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Partner Solutions Engineer for EMEA, focusing on the DACH market. This role will drive enablement and pre-sales activities with Vercel's solution and consulting partners, aiming to grow the adoption of Vercel's products and build strong technical relationships. You will act as a developer advocate, specializing in Vercel products, AI, and agent workloads, establishing best practices, and leading workshops.
Responsibilities
- Serve as subject matter expert on Vercel and Next.js to partner engineering teams and leadership across EMEA.
- Run Vercel's partner certification program in the region, including delivering workshops, reviewing projects, and guiding engineers.
- Create and deliver technical training and enablement on Next.js and Vercel best practices, including building agents and AI applications.
- Deliver one-to-many technical workshops for partner engineering teams and author the content.
- Run and support partner hackathons to build skills and surface joint solutions.
- Provide pre-sales support for partner-engaged opportunities, including proofs of concept and technical deep dives.
- Act as the main technical contact for SIs and GSIs in the region, building relationships with their engineering teams and leadership.
- Build templates and solutions to equip partner communities with best practices for delivering with Vercel.
Requirements
- Strong web development background, especially in frontend development, cloud infrastructure, networking, and modern application development.
- Strong coordination skills across multiple partners and time zones.
- Ability to build lasting relationships with practice leads, delivery teams, and executives.
- 4+ years of experience as a solutions engineer advising or consulting engineering teams.
- 6+ years of experience building and launching frontend applications using Next.js or React.
- Experience working with or within agencies, systems integrators, or consulting firms.
- Experience in developer relations, including training sessions, talks, and producing technical content.
- Results-driven mindset and experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working with remote, globally distributed cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills and experience building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Experience driving the adoption of web technology or previous pre-sales experience.
- Able to travel 20% of the time.
