About the Role
Lancer Scott is seeking a dedicated individual to provide maintenance services to high-profile clients, ensuring the highest quality standards and efficient problem-solving for reactive maintenance activities. This role involves detailed reporting, compliance with regulations, and excellent client interaction.
Responsibilities
- Provide maintenance services to high-profile clients, delivering to the highest quality standards.
- Use initiative to solve technical problems associated with reactive maintenance, including sourcing parts and seeking manufacturer support.
- Provide detailed write-ups of works carried out for client updates.
- Carry out all works within agreed timescales and comply with regulations and contract specifications.
- Manage reporting and recording procedures, including logs and risk control measures.
- Utilize PDAs or electronic devices to complete works.
- Liaise closely with the Helpdesk for efficient work response.
- Observe the highest levels of health and safety, including conducting point-of-work risk assessments.
- Deal courteously and professionally with a variety of clients.
- Provide call-out response across all contracts.
Requirements
- A customer-focused attitude with a practical problem-solving approach.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Well-developed organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- A collaborative approach to contribute to team success.
- A relevant qualification in your trade to C&G or NVQ L2 or L3.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a building maintenance role, particularly in relation to reactive and remedial maintenance.
- Demonstrate a general wide knowledge of building systems in relation to reactive tasks encompassing, fabric tasks including Carpentry, wet trade tasks, minor plumbing tasks, tiling and ground works.
- Current Full UK Driver’s License.
- FDIS or equivalent Fire door qualification (Desirable).
- Fire Compartmentation experience (Desirable).
- IOSH – Working safely or CSCS Card (Desirable).
- IT Skills – in the use of PDAs (Desirable).
- Asbestos awareness training (UKATA) (Desirable).
- CSR/CSCS H&S qualification (Desirable).
