About the Role

Lancer Scott is seeking a dedicated individual to provide maintenance services to high-profile clients, ensuring the highest quality standards and efficient problem-solving for reactive maintenance activities. This role involves detailed reporting, compliance with regulations, and excellent client interaction.

Responsibilities

  • Provide maintenance services to high-profile clients, delivering to the highest quality standards.
  • Use initiative to solve technical problems associated with reactive maintenance, including sourcing parts and seeking manufacturer support.
  • Provide detailed write-ups of works carried out for client updates.
  • Carry out all works within agreed timescales and comply with regulations and contract specifications.
  • Manage reporting and recording procedures, including logs and risk control measures.
  • Utilize PDAs or electronic devices to complete works.
  • Liaise closely with the Helpdesk for efficient work response.
  • Observe the highest levels of health and safety, including conducting point-of-work risk assessments.
  • Deal courteously and professionally with a variety of clients.
  • Provide call-out response across all contracts.

Requirements

  • A customer-focused attitude with a practical problem-solving approach.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Well-developed organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • A collaborative approach to contribute to team success.
  • A relevant qualification in your trade to C&G or NVQ L2 or L3.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a building maintenance role, particularly in relation to reactive and remedial maintenance.
  • Demonstrate a general wide knowledge of building systems in relation to reactive tasks encompassing, fabric tasks including Carpentry, wet trade tasks, minor plumbing tasks, tiling and ground works.
  • Current Full UK Driver’s License.
  • FDIS or equivalent Fire door qualification (Desirable).
  • Fire Compartmentation experience (Desirable).
  • IOSH – Working safely or CSCS Card (Desirable).
  • IT Skills – in the use of PDAs (Desirable).
  • Asbestos awareness training (UKATA) (Desirable).
  • CSR/CSCS H&S qualification (Desirable).
