About the Role

Adaptable and inspiring Substitute Teacher (f/m/d) needed for a full-time cover role for approximately 6-12 months to support the Secondary School team.

Responsibilities

• Support and promote the school and the IB mission statements.
• Ensure the lesson is organized, stimulating, and attractive.
• Demonstrate effort and commitment to make lessons enjoyable and relevant to all learners.
• Promote intercultural understanding.
• Encourage students to continue their learning independently and spark enthusiasm and love for learning by modeling this themselves.
• Provide opportunities for pupils to develop skills in teamwork and collaborative learning.
• Communicate students’ success and next steps to them and their parents effectively.
• Maintain co-operative, supportive professional relationships with the entire school community.
• Continuously assess students’ progress using a variety of methods.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of progress which can communicate success and development to students, parents, and colleagues.

Requirements

• A committed, experienced, and well-qualified Secondary Teacher seeking an opportunity to extend their expertise and work in a high-quality teaching environment.
• Ideally, experience with the IGCSE and IB curriculum.
• Experience in teaching Ethics or qualifications to teach another Secondary School subject would be a plus.
